Paper Maniac Thursday - Paper Piecing!

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Hello! It's Paper Maniac Thursday here on my blog. This week we've been focusing on paper piecing on the Paper Maniac Blog. Paper piecing works really well with outline stamps, like these flowers from the stamp set "Thankful Flourishes" by Our Craft Lounge. I simply stamped them in brown on some "Indian Summer" patterned paper from Basic Grey and them cut them out with a pair of scissors.
I stamped the leaves with green ink, directly on the card base. The flowers are popped up on foam dimensionals and the pink flower has a double layer so it's a little higher than the yellow and orange ones. The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts.

Thanks so much for visiting today!!!

Paper piecing and piercing all in one--imagine that! Nice cards on all your blog--I'll be back. Stop by my Stamping Tower when you get a chance.
