All things grow with love...

Hello! I'm sure you are going to be really surprised that my card for today is for another Papertrey Ink challenge. LOL! This one is actually for two challenges. There is a color challenge up on the Papertrey Ink blog and they are also sponsoring this week's sketch at the CPS blog. So, I combined those two challenges and VOILA, here is my card!
This card is pretty straight forward. The flower and leaves come from the Birds & Blooms Sizzix Dies Set from SU. I applied stickles to the petals and leaves. There are foam dimensionals between each layer of the flower and then I used glue dots to adhere the leaves and flower to the ribbon.
I really like how this card turned out, but in retrospect, I think it would look better if the green layer had been embossed using a swiss dots embossing folder. What do you think?

Also worth mentioning is that SU's Cameo Coral ink is a good match for PTI's Berry Sorbet ink.

I hope you all have a great day! It's like a blizzard here. The kiddos and hubby are home with me today. Level 2 snow emergency! I'm loving every minute of it, though. I love when we are all home together. See you tomorrow!!!

Gorgeous card. Maybe you are right with the embossing, but also without is very beautiful.

LOVE your card! The flower is FAB - especially with the stickles!! And to answer your question - everything is better with swiss dots!
