A {Best Wishes} Card...

Here's hoping this is the start of me getting back on schedule!  It was so nice to play around in my studio this morning (taking breaks to fold and switch out laundry).  Man, things really pile up when momma is sick.  Plus, I spent a big chunk of yesterday working in our flower beds and planting some starters for my garden.  The inside of our house has been sooo neglected.  


Here's the first card I've made in over two weeks.  Not bad for my first effort and hopefully this will get my mojo flowing.

I took both photos using the same settings on my camera, the above one is grainy and the bottom one is crystal clear.  Weird!!!

A {Happy Anniversary} Card...

Hello!  I had so much fun playing with these elephant die cuts yesterday, that I just had to make a second card, but this time using the negative image of the elephants.

I chose two coordinating pieces of patterned paper (the one on the right is cream in real life) to put behind the negative die cuts.  The patterned paper is adhered directly to the card base and then the slate color is adhered over the patterned paper using foam dots, for a 3D look.

I added a little heart between the two elephants to symbolize love.  The sentiment could also be changed to "I love you" as well.

Clear & Simple Stamps: Release Sneak Peek!!!

Hi there!  It's so nice to be back in the swing of things.  The kids went back to school this morning and I am such a creature of habit and I really like being in a routine.  We had such a nice holiday break.  Many days were spent in our pj's the whole day.  


So, I have a sneak peek today of some new stamp sets from Clear & Simple Stamps that will be released on January 5th.  Mark my words, this is a huge release.  I'm so excited for you to see the full sets and accompanying accessories, totally cool.  


This card uses stamps from two new sets, Love Cupid and Hearts Plus.  That heart shape is a new die (and that's all I can say about that!!!).
