OCC Challenge - Create a 3D item

Saturday, January 9, 2010

Hello! Happy Saturday to ya! I'm here with this week's challenge from Our Creative Corner. This week's challenge is to create something 3-Dimensional. It can be anything from a 3D embellishment on a card to an altered item. As soon as I heard 3D, I knew I wanted to make the little box from Lauren Meader's new online shop "My Time Made Easy". This box is called Cutesy Cover and it's a FREE download. It came together pretty quickly. Just print, cut and fold. It looks just like a crayon box.
I decided to make a belly band for my box to hold it closed. The poofy flower comes from a tutorial that Dawn McVey posted on her blog. So easy and cute.
You just slide off the band and find some Tazo tea bags. I know I like herbal tea when I'm sick. I hope you enjoyed today's 3D item. If you haven't already, check out what the Our Creative Corner design team created this week using 3D. Have a great weekend!
