This card was inspired by a MAXI PAD ad...

Wednesday, February 4, 2009

No joke! I was flipping through a Marie Claire magazine last night, ripping out pages with great color combos. I ripped out pictures of purses, nail polish, yogurt, and or course maxi pads. The ad is below. I just love the colors. I interpreted the colors to be Pink Passion (box), Pink Pirouette (flower), Baja Breeze (elements on box) and Certainly Celery (flower stem).

This card layout is from today's sketch challenge at Splitcoast. And look, no ribbon! That almost never happens.

You just never know what is going to inspire you. Even if it is for maxi pads, you might end up with something great.
There are some exciting things coming! Stay tuned!

{thanks so much}

Hi Dana,

Sometimes we get our inspiration from strange places. I love the card. Welcome to DGS DT.
