A "Thank You" Card...

Monday, October 4, 2010

Hello there!  It is so cold and dreary here, I thought I would make a brightly colored card to cheer me up a bit.  The kids are on Fall Break this week and we have so much fun stuff planned along with some crafty projects (if I can find the right materials).

This card uses the Mojo Monday sketch.    I pretty much stuck to the sketch, but still taking a few liberties.  Those colorful papers come from the Echo Park collection Life is Good.  I love how all the papers coordinate so it really takes the thinking part out of it, which is great on a Monday morning.
I've been using floss a lot lately instead of ribbon.  I find it a lot less bulky when making cards you are going to mail.  Also the bow wouldn't get flattened either.

Hope you are having a good Monday!!!
{Thank You}

What a fun color combination! Nothing better to spice up a dreary day that with a cheery card!

This is just darling! Those little heart shapes behind the sentiment are the perfect touch. Thanks for playing Mojo Monday!

Hope you don't mind me stopping by to tell you about Papercraft Star (just in case you don't already know!) We'd love to have you enter some of your inspired projects in our challenges there. We're also having a DT call soon and want to tell papercrafters like you about the call! There is still time to enter our PTI gift certificate drawing too! http://papercraftstar.blogspot.com/2010/09/another-gift-certificate-give-away-at.html
